Join us for an evening of art and conversations on the one year anniversary of the SHE Project visual project launch by Brooklyn photographer, Chante Ramsey/Vysyn Photography. The SHE Project celebrates the strength and perseverance of feminine excellence! Come for the art exhibition and stay for the intimate conversations with fellow guests, inspirational chat with some of the SHE Project models, powerful messages from our keynote speaker as well indulge in delectable delights from our resident chef.

Chante Ramsey - Artist: Chante’s artistic portfolio is a brilliant assemblage of vibrant portraiture, architectural, and urban/natural landscapes. Her work has been featured at local NYC venues including Barbara Campbell’s boutique in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and at the Casa Frela Gallery in Harlem, NY. She is also the creator of the T’Arts Artist Talk With Tea event series, Harlem Buyers Delight and founder of the SHE Project.  Chante, a Brooklyn native, desires to showcase the world’s beauty through her lens. 

 

"Journey on Your Path to Purpose" Panel Discussion @ 7:30pm

Sharese Crouther - Moderator: Sharese is the Strategic Partnership Specialist for the Center for Court Innovation. In this capacity, Sharese manages government advocacy efforts and spearheads the development of strategic partnerships in city and state government that can advance the work of the Center. Previously, Sharese was the Coordinator of Community Initiatives and Special Projects at Brownsville Community Justice Center, overseeing place based initiatives, managing partnerships with city agencies and implementing service-learning programs for Brownsville youth. Sharese’s previous experience serving on the Juvenile Justice Advisory Board for Administration for Children’s Services, where she provided recommendations to Commissioner pertaining to the services and operations of ACS contracted facilities, aftercare services, policy, and projects. 

Lili Roquelin - Speaker: Lili exudes warmth, peace and soulfulness in every lyric and key played on her treasured piano. Hailing from France, Lili brings an indiscribable charm in her music that prevents you from locking her sound into one solid genre because it is uniquely her very own.

Caprice StarBrite - Speaker: Caprice is an eclectic vocalist bursting through cliche's with her brand of rock, soul and funk to bring audiences of all ages a hard hitting, unforgettable performance backed by her no-nonsense band, Kizmit. 

Vicki Sylvain - Speaker: Vicki is an inspiration to so many! She is a traiblazing entrepreneur with her Shoe-B fashion accessory line that continues to expand the globe and has a big heart for her home, Haiti, where she and her team sends supplies donations to support recovery efforts post the 2010 quake through her Survival Kit Drive for Haiti Project.

 

"3 Pillars of High Performance" Keynote by Fabio "Fabs" Martins @  8pm

Fabs has a very unique experience. He has worked and lived all over the world, in Brazil, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Portugal, London and New York! He has worked for 15 years in market research where he went from interviewer to Global Vice President in 8 years and was running 86 countries for the 3rd biggest market research company for 5 years. At the same time, Fabs started practicing the DeRose Method, a human performance method, in 2000 and credits his corporate success to the application of this Method. In 2008 Fabs became a teacher of this Method and in 2013, together with other teachers, he co-founded the DeRose Method TriBeCa. This unique combination of corporate know-how, entrepreneurial spirit, human performance expertise and global perspective make Fabs a very unique individual indeed!
